I have always liked taking on challenges and challenging myself. In 2006 I joined the technical department as an administrative assistant. When I was offered the opportunity to progress in the company by keeping this position part-time and supplementing it with part-time work in the accounting department, I immediately accepted! And I don't regret it at all. I am trained internally by my colleagues, there is real solidarity, we form a truly united team!
GilGas network
I joined the team five years ago and I have never gotten tired of it. It must be said that I never know what awaits me when I arrive in the morning! I take care of the construction sites of our natural gas network, which involves varied tasks. What do I like best? Solving problems as diverse as they are varied, together with the different stakeholders on the site and with my colleagues. We are a very close-knit team and we always help each other when one or the other encounters a difficulty.
MarcoGas network operation & maintenance
I started in 1998 as an electro-mechanic to maintain the gas pressure regulation stations of our natural gas network. Despite my experience, I had to be trained internally: my job requires very specific skills that no professional training teaches. Since then, I have been training regularly. I also learned a lot from my former colleagues: all of this strengthens team cohesion. It’s something I really enjoy every day.

SUDenergie has strengthened its transition to renewable energies, so the IT department had to adapt to these changes. Not only did it allow me to learn a lot, but also to use skills that I had not used before. It was a very enriching experience, which allowed me to open up my possibilities.

I joined the Front-Office team in 2022 and I was immediately integrated very well. I really like the human aspect of my job: I find being in contact with customers very enriching. In 2023, we took another step forward with the launch of “mäi Stroum”: I am very proud to collaborate in this diversification of the company.

I've been at SUDenergie for five years and I haven't seen the time go by. We constantly have new projects. The IT department is constantly evolving, with digitalisation, the switch to smart meters, etc. It is never getting boring!
Transfer of knowledge between generations
For over a year, Patrick and Raoul shared the position in charge of managing the gas pressure regulation stations of our natural gas network. Before retiring, Patrick was able to pass on his knowledge to Raoul, but obviously both benefited from this collaboration. Meet two of our employees who, along with the rest of our team, ensure the security of our natural gas network every day.
