Sustainability at SUDenergie
SUDenergie is continuing its development – guided by a sense of reason and responsibility towards customers and the public, shareholders and partners, as well as towards the environment.
As a responsible player in the energy market, SUDenergie has been increasingly committed to actively promoting the energy transition since 2015.
The three pillars of sustainability
In addition to investments in renewable energy projects, we support energy-saving projects – both to reduce our company’s consumption as well as to motivate our customers to save energy at home via bonus programmes and to raise awareness of the issue.
Since launching in 2015, we have already supported more than 4,500 projects. The combined impact of all these measures is equivalent to the amount of electricity that 23,000 households consume in one year.
However, we are convinced that our commitment to the environment and climate change has to start with ourselves. That is why we run our company entirely on electricity produced from renewable sources. Furthermore, we have been awarded the SuperDrecksKëscht® label for the sustainable use of resources since 2008.

As a traditional company in Luxembourg and because the people of Luxembourg are important to us, we want to give back to society. We support regional cultural and sports associations and events, are actively involved in protecting the environment, offer training opportunities and have created student flats.
